Two people are facing impaired driving charges after police were called to a late-night disturbance in Aylmer.
According to the Aylmer Police Service, officers responded around 12:23 a.m. on February 18 to a complaint about an ATV being revved behind homes in the area of John Street South.
Police say officers located two individuals with an ATV that had become stuck in the snow behind nearby townhomes. Following an investigation, both individuals were required to provide roadside breath samples, which resulted in failures.
The pair was arrested and transported to police headquarters, where further breath tests confirmed both were over the legal limit.
Charges have been laid in connection with impaired operation.
