Canadian airlines have resumed service to Puerto Vallarta after suspending flights over the weekend due to violence in parts of western Mexico.
Air Canada, WestJet, Air Transat and Porter Airlines say they are once again operating flights to and from the resort city, with WestJet also serving Guadalajara and Manzanillo.
The disruptions followed unrest linked to the reported death of a cartel leader during a Mexican government operation.
Global Affairs Canada continues to advise travelers to exercise a high degree of caution while in Mexico.
