Someone in Elgin County could be waking up $100,000 richer.
The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) says one winning ENCORE ticket worth $100,000 was sold in Elgin County as part of the Friday, February 27 LOTTO MAX draw.
The local win was one of four $100,000 ENCORE prizes claimed across Ontario in the draw, with other tickets sold online at OLG.ca, as well as in Windsor and North York.
While the main LOTTO MAX jackpot was not won Friday night, OLG says the prize continues to climb. The jackpot now sits at $75 million, with an estimated 12 MAXMILLIONS prizes of $1 million each available.
OLG is encouraging players to check their tickets as soon as possible using the OLG App or by visiting a local retailer.
