An investigation is underway after costly equipment was stolen from a local construction site.
St. Thomas Police says a GPS unit from a bulldozer at the Yarmouth Yards development has been reported stolen.
Officers were called to the site Tuesday after employees conducting routine maintenance discovered the machine had been damaged and the GPS equipment removed.
Police say the stolen unit is valued at approximately $50,000.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the St. Thomas Police Service as the investigation continues.
