Drivers in St. Thomas and Malahide will soon be able to park on local streets once again overnight, as seasonal parking restrictions come to an end.
The evening of March 15th marks the final night of winter on-street parking rules, which were in place to help keep roads clear for snow removal.
As of March 16th, overnight parking will once again be permitted, so long as you follow all regular parking regulations.
A reminder for those in the Township of Southwold and across the Municipality of West Elgin, that overnight parking on roadways is prohibited year-round from 3-5 a.m., particularly enforced during winter months to assist with snow removal.
In Aylmer, the overnight parking bylaw does remain in effect until April 15th.
