A St. Thomas teen is facing a careless driving charge following an early morning incident in a local park.
The St. Thomas Police Service say officers were called to the park on Friday after reports of a vehicle leaving the roadway.
When police arrived, they found a vehicle that had left the roadway and caused minor damage to the grass and bushes in the area.
Following an investigation, officers determined the driver lost control while operating the vehicle in an unsafe manner.
A 19-year-old has been charged with careless driving and was released with a future court date.
