With the increased popularity of Little Beach in Port Stanley, beachgoers will soon experience upgraded washroom facilities.
A new, modern washroom trailer will provide clean, accessible facilities for beachgoers that will replace nine rented portable toilets.
The trailer is equipped with six universal washroom stations and one accessible station.
It was approved in the 2026 Central Elgin budget.
A social media posting notes locates were completed last week, the first step before excavation work can begin to install underground servicing.
The plan is to have the trailer in place and fully operational for this summer’s beach season.
