Two recent traffic enforcement projects in St. Thomas have wrapped up, with police reporting dozens of stops and multiple charges laid.
The St. Thomas Police Service say a targeted initiative at the intersection of First Avenue and Talbot Street resulted in 62 reports, along with five warnings and three charges.
Meanwhile, a separate project focused on speeding along Southdale Line, between Lake Margaret Trail and Sunset Drive, led to 66 reports, four warnings, and 14 charges.
Police say both initiatives are part of ongoing efforts to improve road safety across the community.
Drivers are being reminded to obey speed limits, drive sober, and help keep local roads safe for everyone.
