A Central Elgin teen has been charged in a fatal collision east of St. Thomas last November that claimed the life of Grade 12 Parkside Collegiate student, Hadley Denison.
Elgin OPP reported just before 1 p.m. on Nov. 14, emergency personnel responded to a collision between a grain truck and a car at the intersection of Quaker Road and Southdale Line.
Sixteen-year-old Denison suffered a fractured skull and brain swelling along with other injuries. Three days later she was declared deceased.
On a gofundme page, Denison was described as “a fierce and loving daughter. She is a bright student and a caring sister.”
The 17-year-old driver of the car has been charged with careless driving causing death.
