The Ontario Provincial Police is advising residents and visitors of an upcoming training exercise in Port Stanley.
According to Elgin OPP, an inter-agency marine flare training exercise will take place on Monday, April 27, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. along the shoreline on the east side of Port Stanley Harbour.
Officials say the exercise will involve the controlled live firing of expired marine distress flares for training and educational purposes.
Police, fire services, and the Canadian Coast Guard will all be on site during the exercise.
