A 36-year-old St. Thomas woman is facing multiple charges following an alleged intimate partner violence incident on Talbot Street Monday morning.
Police say officers were called to the area for a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers learned the accused broke a window to enter a residence. Once inside, a physical altercation occurred, resulting in minor injuries to the victim and damage to the property.
As a result of the investigation, the woman has been charged with assault, assault with a weapon, criminal harassment, break and enter, two counts of mischief, and theft under $5,000.
Police have confirmed a warrant for her arrest has been requested.
