The St. Thomas & District Chamber of Commerce is giving back to the community following the success of its 2026 Impact Awards.
The Chamber announced a $3,500 donation to The INN St. Thomas-Elgin, with the funds raised during this year’s Impact Awards event, themed LEVEL UP: The Impact Arcade.
Organizers say the contribution was made possible through support from attendees, sponsors, community partners, and local businesses who helped turn the annual celebration into a fundraiser benefiting the community.
“Events like the Impact Awards are about more than celebration,” said Paul Jenkins of the St. Thomas & District Chamber of Commerce, “it’s an opportunity for our business community to come together, support one another, and create a positive impact beyond the event itself. We are incredibly proud to support The INN and the important work they do every day.”
Brian Elliott, Executive Director of The INN, accepted the cheque on behalf of the organization and thanked the community for its continued support.
The Chamber notes initiatives like this highlight the connection between local business and community wellbeing, adding that the success of the fundraiser would not have been possible without volunteers, sponsors, and attendees coming together to support the cause.
