Build confidence in speaking English for everyday situations such as job interviews, visiting the doctor, and more. Today: Middle Makers is being hosted at St. Thomas Public Library from 4 to 5 p.m. on Monday, and the theme is Beaded Lizards! Middle Makers is a chance for 8 – 12-year-olds to meet, explore what the library has to offer, and participate in a fun activity!
Today: An Empower-U Information Night is taking place Monday at Central Elgin Collegiate Institute from 6 to 7:30 p.m. This information night is meant for families and students with disabilities to connect with community resources for recreation, employment, volunteering, and post-high school planning. Tomorrow: The St. Thomas Public Library Book Club is back on Tuesday! Join the monthly book club from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in the Carnegie Room (Lower Level) to discuss unique books with others. In June, they’re reading “The Correspondent” by Virginia Evans.
Tomorrow: Take in Storytime at the St. Thomas Public Library on Tuesday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the Carnegie Room. Storytimes are made for caregivers and little ones to explore books together. Ages 1+
