Elgin OPP are investigating a sudden-death incident last week in Malahide.
Just before 5:30 p.m. on Thursday (June 4), emergency personnel were called out to an address on Avon Road for a controlled burn that had spread.
A 92-year-old man was found deceased in the wooded area. The incident is not deemed suspicious.
Members of the Elgin County Crime Unit, the Office of the Chief Coroner and the Office of the Fire Marshall were engaged.
