The Rosy Rhubarb Festival returns to the Keystone Complex on Saturday, June 13, and Sunday, June 14, bringing two days of family-friendly fun, entertainment, food, and, of course, plenty of rhubarb.
The annual celebration features a packed schedule of events, including the popular baking contest, rhubarb stalk and leaf competition, community yard sales, live music, and a variety of activities for children.
Festival-goers can enjoy a petting zoo, pony rides, inflatables, face painting, puppet shows, and interactive demonstrations from Craig the Science Guy throughout the weekend.
Saturday’s festivities begin with opening ceremonies featuring the St. Thomas Police Pipes and Drums, while live entertainment will be provided by John Milles and Chris Eveland and the Retrospect Band. On Sunday, visitors can take in a non-denominational church service, the Fingal-Shedden Optimist Antique Car Show, and performances by The Sheridan Band.
In addition to the entertainment, attendees can browse a wide selection of vendors offering crafts, food, services, and rhubarb-inspired products, while community yard sales provide the opportunity to hunt for hidden treasures.
The festival runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, and admission is free, although donations are welcome to help support the Keystone Complex and future community events.
Visitors are encouraged to follow festival parking signs upon arrival and be mindful of ongoing construction on Union Road when planning their route.
