Those looking for a way to celebrate Father’s Day this weekend can take advantage of free fishing across the province.
On June 20th and 21st, Ontarians can enjoy fishing province-wide without having to purchase a licence or carry an Outdoors Card.
During this free fishing period, however, it is essential to carry valid identification issued by the provincial or federal government, which should include both your name and date of birth.
Catch limits, size limits, sanctuaries, and other regulations still apply. For more details or to find places to fish this weekend, visit OntarioFamilyFishing.com.
Free fishing in Ontario will also be available June 27 – July 5 during Family Fishing Week.
