With Canada Day coming up tomorrow, here’s what’s open and what’s closed in St. Thomas and Elgin County.
All municipal buildings, offices, banks and most grocery stores in both the city and county will be closed on Wednesday.
The Elgin Centre will be closed as well, but Galaxy Cinemas inside the mall will be open.
Most restaurants across the city and county will be open, but it’s best to call ahead to double-check!
Those needing any last-minute items on Wednesday can stop by…
- Briwood Farm Market from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Shoppers Drug Mart at 410 Talbot Street from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Shoppers Drug Mart at 204 First Ave from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Foodland Port Stanley from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Howe’s Farm Market & Bakery from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Both Locations)
- Cobs Bread from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Lynhurst Esso and Variety from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Both the LCBO and Beer Store will be closed Wednesday; however, a number of convenience stores now supply alcohol.
And don’t forget about all the Canada Day celebrations taking place across St. Thomas and Elgin County.
