Buying your morning coffee could help send a local youth to camp this week.
Tim Hortons’ annual Camp Day returns Wednesday July 15, with 100 per cent of proceeds from all hot and iced coffee sales donated to Tim Hortons Foundation Camps.
Since expanding across Canada in 1991, Camp Day has raised more than $275 million to help underserved youth build confidence, resilience and leadership skills through Tim Hortons Foundation Camps. Last year’s campaign alone raised more than $13 million.
In addition to purchasing coffee on Camp Day, guests can support the foundation by buying a $2 Camp Day donut, a $2 donation badge or a $3 Camp Day bracelet at participating Canadian restaurants. Guests can also round up purchases through the Tim Hortons mobile app or make a donation online.
The Tim Hortons Foundation Camps has supported nearly 350,000 young people through its camp programs and, more recently, its Tims Classrooms Program, which brings leadership and social-emotional learning opportunities into schools.
