The Four Counties Traffic Project last Thursday in St. Thomas resulted in 18 charges being laid.
The traffic undertaking involved police services from St. Thomas, Aylmer, London, Strathroy-Caradoc and Stratford.
The focus was on speeding, seat belt use, distracted driving, intersections of concern and roundabouts.
The majority of charges were for speeding, with a dozen tickets issued.
Here is a full list of charges:
- 12 speeding
- Two driving while using a hand held communication device
- One driving without a currently validated permit
- One insecure load
- One vehicle without a muffler
- One driver failing to wear a seat belt
