A London female was arrested Saturday night following an incident at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital.
Police responded to the hospital after a patient became irate when asked to leave.
Staff witnessed the woman enter her vehicle and began taking pills. She sped away in a dangerous fashion and police were able to stop the vehicle.
Officers suspected she was impaired and arrested her for operation while impaired by drugs.
She was released with a futue court date and her vehicle impounded.
