An 18-year-old is facing an assault charge following an altercation involving several youths at the St. Thomas skatepark.
St. Thomas Police say officers were called to a disturbance Wednesday evening in the skatepark area at Caso Crossing.
Through investigation, police determined that one youth had allegedly been struck by another individual during the incident.
Officers located the accused nearby and arrested the 18-year-old.
The accused has been charged with one count of assault and was later released on an undertaking with a future court date.
