Residents will have a chance to provide feedback on the future of Highway 3 between St. Thomas and Aylmer later this month.
The Ontario Ministry of Transportation is conducting a planning, preliminary design, and Class Environmental Assessment Study looking at the highway corridor between the two communities.
As part of that work, MTO is hosting its first Public Information Centre on Wednesday, August 26, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the East Elgin Community Complex in Aylmer.
The drop-in session will give residents an opportunity to learn more about the study, review existing conditions and potential route planning alternatives, and provide feedback on the proposed criteria that will be used to evaluate those options.
Members of the project team will also be available to answer questions and speak with residents about the study.
More information about the study and how to provide feedback is available through the Highway 3 project website.
