A 29-year-old St. Thomas man is facing multiple charges following a disturbance on the north side of the city Monday night.
St. Thomas Police say they received several 911 calls about an argument that had escalated, including reports that a man had been struck with a baseball bat.
Police allege the accused then used his vehicle to repeatedly strike another vehicle, causing significant damage.
Officers arrested the man when they arrived and say they observed signs of alcohol impairment. Police say he refused to provide a breath sample.
The 29-year-old is charged with assault with a weapon, dangerous operation, and refusal to comply with a demand.
He was taken to police headquarters for processing.
