Canada’s new $20 bill was unveiled Thursday in Ottawa by Bank of Canada Governor Tiff Macklem.
It’s a vertical bill featuring a portrait of King Charles and is the first Canadian paper currency to feature Charles, replacing the late Queen Elizabeth ll.
It’s a polymer note, mainly green and retains the Canadian National Vimy Memorial on the back.
It will gradually enter circulation in late February of next year.
