The Joe Thornton Community Centre will once again play host to the annual AccessAbility Open House, bringing together local organizations and community partners focused on accessibility and inclusion.
The free event takes place Tuesday, September 22, from 2 to 7 p.m., featuring exhibits, vendors, door prizes and a sign language interpreter. Residents will have the chance to connect with local organizations, vendors, and community partners offering services, programs, and supports for seniors and people living with disabilities.
Thanks to the support of St. Thomas City Council, free transit will be available for riders attending the event. The first 100 people through the doors will also receive a complimentary tote bag and drink.
The event is hosted in partnership with the City of St. Thomas, Elgin County, and the Municipality of Central Elgin.
