Here’s what’s going on in St. Thomas and Elgin County over the next 48 hours.
Today: Take in Storytime at the St. Thomas Public Library on Tuesday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the Carnegie Room. Storytimes are made for caregivers and little ones to explore books together. Ages 1+
Today: The annual Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics is returning to St. Thomas on Tuesday, September 15th, with local police inviting the community to come out and cheer on our athletes. The run will begin at the west end of the city around 11 a.m., where officers and personnel will join Special Olympics athletes for the journey downtown.
Today: Join the St. Thomas Public Library on Tuesday from 2-4 for Tech Made Simple, with a focus on Smartphone or Tablet Settings. The session includes an overview of the settings and hands-on exploration of Sound, Display, Sound, Wi-fi, Mobile Data settings, and Settings Search. This is for Ages 55+, and registration is required.
Today: Genealogy 101 returns to the St. Thomas Public Library on Tuesday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Learn how to gather your ancestors’ information and start a basic genealogy search using Ancestry Library. Registration is required!
Tomorrow: The Teen Advisory Board at the St. Thomas Public Library is a group of teens in grades 9 – 12 who meet once a month from 3:45 to 5 p.m. to plan and promote exciting programs and talk about ways to make the library a more inclusive space for all teens. Join them on Wednesday!
Tomorrow: Craft In Company is taking place at St. Thomas Public Library on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. Do you have a project you are working on? Do you want to get out and meet other crafters? Come to the library for an evening Crafter Social. This is an independent meet-up for anyone who loves to create.
Tomorrow: Trivia takes place every Wednesday night at Railway City Brewing from 7 to 9! Stop in for an evening of good food and fun with no need to preregister.

- The St. Thomas Stars visit the St. Marys Lincolns on Friday, with puck drop at 7:30 p.m. Then, on Sunday, they host the Brantford Titans at 7:30 p.m.
