The St. Thomas Terry Fox Run takes place this Sunday, September 20, at 1Password Park, bringing the community together to support cancer research and honour Terry Fox’s legacy.
Registration opens at 9:30 a.m., with the run getting underway at 10 a.m. at the pavilion near the splash pad, which will serve as both the registration area and starting point.
Participants can choose from 2-kilometre, 5-kilometre, or 10-kilometre routes, and are welcome to walk, run, or roll.
Even if you’re not participating, residents are encouraged to come out and cheer on those taking part.
It’s a day centred on hope, community and determination, while continuing Terry Fox’s legacy and supporting cancer research.
