For 35 years, Briwood Farm Market has been more than a place to pick up fresh, local food.
The St. Thomas business has become a familiar part of the community, supporting local organizations, events, and causes throughout the years. Now, the community is getting a chance to return some of that support, with an Open House celebrating Briwood’s 35th anniversary this Thursday.
Geoff Rae with Hometown St. Thomas Magazine says the decision to help organize the celebration came naturally after seeing the impact Brian and Sherwood have had locally over the years.
The anniversary celebration is being hosted by Hometown St. Thomas Magazine and 94.1 myFM, with the goal of bringing people together to recognize a business that has been part of the community for more than three decades.
94.1 myFM Senior Account Executive Dave Thomson says they’ve planned an evening that gives people a chance to come together and celebrate the milestone.
With it being an Open House, guests don’t have to stay for the whole evening; even a quick stop is a chance to show the Briwood team how much their contributions to the community are appreciated.
The open house takes place Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the CASO Station.
