Ontario’s flu and COVID-19 immunization programs are underway, with vaccines available to high-risk and priority groups as of yesterday (Monday).
Those groups include people aged 65 and older, hospital patients and staff, and people living or working in congregate settings such as retirement homes and long term care facilities.
Free flu and COVID-19 vaccines will be available to the general public starting Oct. 26th.
The province is also expanding access to RSV immunization for eligible adults, infants and children, while pregnant individuals can receive an RSV vaccine to help protect their newborns.
