A city resident is out almost $1,000 in an online employment scam.
The victim contacted police on Monday after responding to what they believed was a legitimate job opportunity advertised through WhatsApp.
During the process, the complainant provided driver’s licence information and transferred approximately $900 through three electronic transfers.
St. Thomas Police are continuing with their investigation.
