A 26-year-old St. Thomas woman is facing a robbery charge following an investigation into an incident in the city’s west end.
St. Thomas police say they were called Monday after a victim reported being struck on the back of the head with a bag before their cellphone was taken.
Officers reviewed available CCTV footage, which police say captured the incident and confirmed the suspect’s identity.
The woman has been charged with one count of Robbery with theft, and a warrant for her arrest has been requested.
