Tomorrow’s AccessAbility Open House is bringing the community together for an afternoon of connection, inclusion, and activities at the Joe Thornton Community Centre.
From 2 to 7 p.m., residents can connect with local organizations and community partners, explore exhibits and vendors, and learn more about programs, services, and supports focused on accessibility and inclusion.
There will also be a wheelchair basketball demonstration at 5 p.m., followed by a live performance from Dreams Come True Music Studio at 6.
Door prizes and a sign language interpreter will also be part of the afternoon.
The first 100 people through the doors will receive a free tote bag and drink.
And thanks to the support of St. Thomas City Council, free transit will be available for those attending the event.
The AccessAbility Open House is hosted in partnership with the City of St. Thomas, Elgin County, and the Municipality of Central Elgin.
