St. Thomas Police are investigating a reported assault at a local grocery store.
Police say a resident attended police headquarters Sunday to report being assaulted the previous afternoon.
According to police, an unknown man attempted to push a shopping cart between the victim and an adjacent checkout lane. The cart struck and pinned the victim.
Police say the man continued pushing the cart despite being asked to stop, before leaving the store.
CCTV footage from the incident has been provided to police, and the investigation remains ongoing.
