The Indo-Can Punjabi Cultural Association of St. Thomas is celebrating more than a decade of bringing people together through culture, music, and community.
The local non-profit is marking its 13th year with its annual Indo-Can Musical Night on Saturday, October 3, at the St. Anne’s Centre in St. Thomas.
President Lakhwinder Kathuria says the organization has spent the past 13 years creating opportunities for people from different cultures and backgrounds to connect.
The celebration will offer an evening of music, dancing, food and entertainment, with doors opening at 5 p.m. for networking, snacks and time to connect before the performances begin around 6:30.
Kathuria says the event is designed to welcome the entire community, not just members of the Indo-Can organization.
Tickets are $35 for adults and $25 for students, while children under 10 can attend for free. The ticket price also includes catered food, with snacks and dinner provided throughout the evening.
They can be purchased in advance at the New Elgin Motel on Sunset Drive or the nearby ESSO gas station, through Indo-Can’s website, with options also available at the door if the event has not sold out.
