West Elgin is getting ready for a big night of country music, with the James Barker Band set to headline a concert at the Bo Horvat Community Centre next spring!
The Small Town Throwdown Concert Series is coming to West Lorne on May 13, 2027, with Mitch Zorn and local artist Blake Jubenville also set to perform.
The event is giving residents a chance to enjoy live music close to home, while also supporting the local arena. $10 from every ticket sold will go back to the Bo Horvat Community Centre to help fund future upgrades and renovations.
Presale tickets for the West Lorne show go on sale Wednesday, October 21, at 10 a.m. with the code COMMUNITY and will be available until 10 p.m. Thursday, October 22. General ticket sales begin Friday, October 23, at 10 a.m.
The James Barker Band is also scheduled to perform in Dorchester at the Flight Exec Centre on May 14th as part of the 2027 Hospice Hoedown, alongside Mitch Zorn and St. Thomas native Tyler DeLargie.
Listeners have presale access from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Thursday thanks to myFM’s sister station, New Country 107.3 in Tillsonburg, using the code GIDDYUP, ahead of general ticket sales Friday.
Tickets are available through SmallTownThrowdown.ca.
