The Old St. Thomas Church will be holding a Family Fun Day to help celebrate the history of the nearly 200 year old church. The annual event will feature historical reenactments, pioneer style crafts as well as tours of the church and grounds making it a fun day for the entire family.
Summer Staff member Jillian Donahue says the purpose of the day is for people to learn about the history of the church while also engaging children with some fun activities.
Donahue says they will also be supplying free hot dogs, beverages, and ice cream during the event that is open to everyone in the community.
Family fun day will be running from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on August 17th.
