A Port Stanley man is facing a careless driving charge after a two vehicle collision on Sunset Road on Monday night (August 26) sent one person to hospital and closed the road for part of the night.
The collision occurred on Sunset Road between Roberts Line and Sparta Line just before 9 p.m. when the OPP say a vehicle that was turning left into a private driveway was rear-ended.
Emergency crews responded and transported a female to hospital with what was initially believed to be serious injuries. The woman’s condition was later updated to non-life threatening.
A 41-year old man from Port Stanley has been charged with careless driving. The road was closed to traffic for part of the night for an investigation but has since reopened.
