The St. Thomas Police Service is holding their second annual open house at the Colin McGregor Justice Building on Saturday, September 7th. The event from 1 p.m – 4 p.m. is open to everyone and will allow residents to give themselves a self-guided tour of the police station.
Volunteers will be throughout the building to explain what the different areas and rooms are.
Corporate Communications Coordinator Tanya Calvert says that the open house is a way for them to let the residents know how important they are to them
Calvert says that they will also have demonstrations of some police techniques along with a barbecue in the back parking lot. Donations to the St. Thomas – Elgin Food Bank will also be accepted.
