Habitat for Humanity Heartland Ontario is holding a drop-in information session on Monday, September 16th at the St. Thomas Public Library. The drop-in session is to recruit local community members to a Steering Committee leading up to their upcoming St. Thomas build. While the exact location is still being finalized, they are hopeful that a St. Thomas build will begin in Spring of 2020.
Volunteer Coordinator Kendra Forrest says the committee members actively participate in the process leading up to the build.
Forrest says that the committee members always come from many different backgrounds which leads to its success. The drop-in session will take place in the Carnegie Room at the Library from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m.
