A bike that was reported stolen 9 years ago was returned to the original owner on Thursday (September 12). The St. Thomas Police were dealing with a male on an unrelated matter and ran the serial number of the bike he was riding.
The police then discovered that it was reported as stolen in 2010 because the serial number was on file.
Officers seized the bike, located the original owner and returned the bike.
