Tim Hortons annual Smile Cookie Campaign is taking place this week. Beginning today (Sept 16) until Sunday (Sept 22) any $1 Smile Cookie purchased at St. Thomas locations will go to support the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Foundation.
This year the funds will go towards purchasing a new birthing bed for the Women and Children’s ward in the hospital.
Foundation Executive Director Paul Jenkins says that they are grateful to have been the recipient of the funds for the last few years.
Jenkins says that the support locally for the hospital is something he feels helps to make the campaign a success. The Aylmer Tim Hortons locations will be supporting Eat 2 Learn during the campaign.
