Security footage led to the St. Thomas Police placing a man under arrest on Saturday morning after it allegedly showed him throwing a brick through the window of a Talbot Street homeless drop in centre. The incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. when the 26 year old man allegedly pried the bricks from the ledge of a neighbouring store and then proceeded to through the brick through the window.
Police took the man into custody without incident. The man is facing 2 counts of mischief to property under $5,000, 3 counts of breaching release conditions and 1 count of theft under $5,000. The man was held for a court appearance.
