The St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Foundation has received over $40,000, thanks to a generous donation from Entegrus. The $40,875 in funds was raised through the Power of Golf “Fore Charity” Tournament that was put on by Entegrus and the Electricity Distributor’s Association Western District last Thursday (Sept 12) at the St. Thomas Golf and Country Club.
Members from our local Entegrus branch as well as other branches throughout western Ontario came together for a day of golf in support of the STEGH. The money raised from the event will be going towards the purchase of a new neonatal incubator and monitor for the Women and Children’s Unit at the hospital.
Paul Jenkins, Executive Director of the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Foundation says “The impact of being the beneficiary of this tournament will be felt for years to come.”
Funds raised from the tournament are also thanks to many local St. Thomas businesses, who showed their generosity by providing items for the tournament’s raffle, prize table & welcome bags for the visiting golfers.
