Elections Canada wants to make sure that you are registered to vote in the October 21st federal election. Their website elections.ca is the best resource to check whether you’re registered. If you do not have access to a computer you can call the citizens line at 1-800-463-6868.
Regional Media Advisor Rejean Grenier says that you can also register in person at your local returning office.
Grenier says that the voter information cards will begin to be mailed out towards the end of this month and the beginning of next month. If any of the information on your voter card is incorrect, you are asked to follow the instructions right on the card.
