A comedy show in Aylmer on Saturday night (October 5) will be raising funds for the E.R. Buddies program at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital. The “Comedy Night Returns” show at the Columbus Club of Aylmer will feature well known Canadian Comedian Tim Nutt.
100% of the proceeds from ticket sales will go towards the program which provides children in the emergency room with a teddy bear.
Organizer Peter McDermid says that the program is a real asset to doctors and nurses when dealing with children.
McDermid says that the night will be opened up by local comedians M.C. Donnie Coy and Gerry Hall. Tickets are $20 and are available online through Eventbrite, in person at Bear Friend Factory in Sparta and will also be available at the door on Saturday night.
