2 people were arrested last night after police were called to a Manitoba Street residence. When police arrived on scene, a 35 year old female and a 26 year old male that had been drinking became belligerent with the officers and started slamming doors and yelling at them from the front porch of the home. Police placed the man under arrest in the backyard of the home, after he attempted to flee the scene.
The 26 year old was charged with Breach of Release Conditions as he was under court orders not to consume alcohol, not to attend the Manitoba Street residence and not to communicate with the co-accused female.
The woman was also taken into custody where she was charged with one count Cause Disturbance, one count Breach of Release Conditions for not keeping the peace and being of good behaviour and one count Utter Threats to Kill an Animal after she threatened to kill Police Service Dog Axle.
Both parties were brought to the police station for processing where they were later released on a promise to appear in court.
