With the Thanksgiving weekend upon us, it’s important to know what’s open and closed in St. Thomas and Elgin County.
All municipal buildings, offices, Canada Post as well as banks in both St. Thomas and Elgin County will be closed on Monday (Oct 14).
Most grocery stores in the city will be closed including Walmart, The Real Canadian Superstore, Fresco, Foodbasics, Foodland, Metro, and M & M Food Market, however Briwood Farm Market will be open on Monday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Shoppers Drug Mart at 410 Talbot Street will be open on Thanksgiving from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Both the LCBO and Beer Store in St. Thomas will be closed on Monday.
If you’re looking for something fun to do with the family over the next few days, Talbotville Berry Farm, Debackere Farms, and Great Lakes Farms will be open all weekend including Thanksgiving Monday.
Monday Hours
Talbotville Berry- Farm 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Debackere Farms- 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Great Lakes Farms- 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
