The Elgin County Railway Museum will be holding their annual “Halloween Family Dance Party” this Saturday. The event will be running from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with the first hour of the dance centering more towards toddlers. The “Big Kids Party” will be running from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and is geared towards children under 13 years old, however everyone is invited to attend. The museum will be decked out in Halloween decorations and they will also have a fog machine set up.
Events Manager Elizabeth Nagy says that their will be lots of fun activities taking place that night.
Nagy says that snacks such as chips and candy, as well as beverages will be available. Nagy adds that everyone who attends is encouraged to come in their favourite Halloween costume, including parents, who must accompany their children to the event.
Admission to the event is $5 per person or $15 for a family of 4 that consists of 2 children and 2 adults. Tickets can be pre purchased online through Eventbrite but will also be available at the door.
