The Ross Street construction project is on track to be completed within the next couple of weeks. The project on Ross Street from Jonas Street to Wellington Street includes new underground storm and sanitary drains and an upgrade of the road and sidewalks. Once complete the above ground work will resemble the west end of Talbot Street with similar brickwork and trees.
Manager of Capital Works Patrick Anckaert says that the local businesses have been very accommodating during the construction.
Anckaert says that there have been no big surprises during the construction and it is still on track for the initial schedule. Ross Street is expected to be reopened to traffic the week of November 18th weather dependent.
