Sparta Country Candles is once again, raising funds for the St. Thomas-Elgin Food Bank with festive Christmas Charity Candles. Through three years, their candle sales have raised over $3000 for the food bank.
This year, their candles feature 3 Christmas scents, Cinnamon, French Vanilla and Cranberry, and are on sale for $20. There’s only a short run of candles that were created, and once they’re sold out, they’re gone. You can get your candles in person on Sparta Line or by calling in an order over $45.
Continuing in the Christmas spirit, Sparta will have a special guest on November 23rd and 24th, as Santa stops by the Sparta Tea Room. From noon until 3 p.m., kids are welcome to stop by and bring their Christmas wish lists and take photos with Santa.
Pictures are free, however, guests are asked to bring non-perishable food items in support of the St. Thomas-Elgin Food Bank.
